Solo and Ensemble Music

One of my studious students found a web site that has solo and ensemble music for free. (OK not free there is a yearly membership fee.) We purchased the membership for the school. If you find a piece on the site you would like let me know and I'll get it for you.

Note: If you click on the link "Sheet Music Store" these items are not included in the yearly membership plan. You would need to pay the price listed for these pieces. To see the free stuff click on "Composer index" or "Instrument index."

Note that the concert date in March has changed. We had a conflict on the 22nd so the jazz / percussion concert will be a week later on March 29. Make note of this change on you calendar.

Note that I had this wrong when I first posted it. The concert band concert is still on the 27th.

BYU Festival was Great!

We had the Jazz Band in Provo this weekend to participate in the BYU Cresent Jazz Festival. It was an outstanding weekend. We heard some great concerts, some some great clinics, and got to work with a good clinician as well. Our scores were not as good as we had hoped, but we learned a lot and will be better prepared for Region in three weeks. Look for pictures from the weekend to come soon.
