March Concerts a Success

Hope you all enjoyed the concerts as much as I did. I thought they turned out well. You can find pictures here.

Region Solo and Ensemble Results

Toni and Landon each got a I- on their piano solos. The rest of the results are listed in the picture. Not sure why Carl got a I but a No for qualifying for state. We'll have to wait for the sheets to come back in. Thought you all did well. State S&E is April 28.

Region Band Results and Picts

For those not in the know the band got a II II+ and I-.

The Jazz Ensemble got a II+ II+ and a II. Both bands averaged a II+

Solo & Ensemble Results (School)

Extremly Important

Due to another unforseen conflict we need to move the Percussion and Jazz concert again. It is quite frustrating for me to have moved this concert so many times. Please be understanding in this manner.

The new date is Wednesday March 28.

Cookie Fundraiser Coming

We are awaiting the final approval from the district to do the annual cookie dough fundraiser. We are planning to have a kickoff meeting on Thursday April 12. This meeting will be at the JH at 2:45 p.m. If you are planning to use this fundraiser to make money for an upcoming trip you will want to be there.

We are looking at a Lagoon trip for the JH on May 12 and possibly the Holiday Bowl in December for the HS.

Chaperons Needed

We will need 5 chaperos for the region festival day. At this point we are planning to leave at 7 a.m. If you are a parent and can go give me an e-mail and let me know. If you are a student ask your parents if they can go. We should be home about 6 p.m.
